Matcha Made in Heaven



Ingredients
1 Tsp Matcha Powder
1/2 Cup Water
2 Tsp Vanilla Syrup
1/2 Cup Oat Milk

Method
Whisk together matcha powder, syrup and water.

Fill a pint glass with ice.

Pour in matcha blend.

Top with oat milk until the glass is full, about 1/2 a cup.

Stir matcha blend and milk to incorporate.



Since we’ve been spending the majority of our time in our apartment, Greer and I have upped our barista game. Who knew you could make your own drinks at home? Certainly not us. Our drink schedule goes something like this:

8am: 2 Cups of coffee
11am: Force ourselves to drink some water, mainly because there’s no more coffee
3pm: Another jolt of caffeine i.e: matcha latte
5pm: Back at it with some water
7pm-Bedtime: Alcoholic beverage(s)

We’ve learned that the 3pm jolt of caffeine is crucial to our afternoon success. Until now, iced coffee filled the 3pm void, but now matcha is winning over our hearts. The energy, the creaminess, the antioxidants, umph! It is the perfect afternoon delight. We highly recommend getting your hands on your favorite matcha powder blend ASAP. Your afternoon pick-me-up will never be the same.
